A Bit About Me
Experiential learning, collaborative environments, and elevated analytical skills are at the center of my academic efforts. As a Master Lecturer and Brand Communication Head in Media and Communication, I lead upper-level advertising and public relations courses that are rooted in theory, develop critical thinking and creative strategy skills, and offer practical application through client connections. I lead the student capstone experience, BucBrands, and co-lead the AAF National Student Advertising Competition team, having placed 1st in Districts four times and in the Top 8 Nationally three times!

New to ETSU is the BucHouse Student Agency- an interdisciplinary organization providing real world experience for students (with faculty mentors) through client work. With ETSU campus, community, and regional clients on board, our students are curating message and creative strategy and productions to meet organizational goals. The agency operates with multiple extensions (of which I oversee)- PRSM (Public Relations and Social Media), DART (Digital Art and Research Talent), Pepper Productions, Insights Garden, and Marketing Strategy.
